Teatro Massimo opens selection for new operations director.
Applications by Saturday, 3-year assignment, contract as an industrial company manager.

Contract as an executive of industrial companies, three-year term of office, specific experience in the field of lyric-symphonic foundations or similar bodies aimed at the diffusion of musical and performing arts culture. The Teatro Massimo Foundation, in accordance with the regulations approved by the Steering Committee at its meeting of 22 January last, is launching the procedure for expressions of interest in order to acquire the availability of candidates interested and in possession of the legal requirements to fill the position of chief operating officer.

The application, accompanied by a curriculum vitae, must reach the Fondazione Teatro Massimo by 12 noon on Saturday 12 March, at the following address Fondazione Teatro Massimo, Piazza Verdi, 90138 Palermo, by registered post. All applications will be examined by a selection committee appointed by the Superintendent and composed of three experts in the sector, one of whom must be an internal member of the Foundation. The Commission will examine the applications received and select at least three competitors to be submitted to the Superintendent. Should the number of participants be less than three, they will be submitted to the superintendent.

The Chief Operating Officer will have to assume the responsibilities and tasks related to the coordination of all the Foundation’s departments and its management activities, with particular reference to management control and the management of human and financial resources. He/she will also be in charge of institutional relations inherent to the tasks and functions entrusted. Eligibility requirements include the enjoyment of civil and political rights; a university degree; having performed for at least three years management, administration and management of human, economic and financial resources tasks in complex structures, bodies or companies, both public and private; written and spoken knowledge of the English language.
