The Teatro Massimo presents an exclusive educational opportunity to explore contemporary dance and the origins of the ballet Caravaggio, led by Maestro Mauro Bigonzetti.

The programme is divided into two sessions: Monday 15 June (11:00–12:30) with a practical masterclass in the Sala degli Stemmi, and Thursday 18 June (17:00–20:30) in the Sala Grande, to watch the full-cast rehearsal followed by a discussion with the choreographer. Admission is restricted to dancers (aged 16 and over) with a solid background in classical and contemporary dance.

As places are limited, applications must be submitted by Wednesday 10 June 2026 and will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
