The 8th edition of PIANO CITY PALERMO was presented today. This piano festival will transform Palermo into a large stage for three days, from Friday 26 to Sunday 28 September 2025, from dawn to dusk, and this year also at night, filling the city with the sounds of the piano.
From theatres to squares in the historic centre, from gardens to the waterfront, passing through courtyards, oratories, monumental buildings and libraries throughout the city, Piano City Palermo, as usual, will spread out in a sound journey characterised by the fusion of genres and artistic languages, with free concerts from dawn to dusk, but also an unprecedented night-time showcase in the city’s most iconic locations.
The artistic direction has reserved a lot of space for young pianists (with the establishment of the “Hermès per i Talenti” Award for Training) to give these extraordinary talents a great opportunity to express their artistic abilities and offer them a starting point for other festivals and initiatives.
