Welcome to the Accessible Audio Guides and Video Guides section of the Teatro Massimo in Palermo.
We offer an inclusive experience for all visitors thanks to the Video Guides in Italian Sign Language (LIS), International Sign (IS) and American Sign Language (ASL) for the deaf and partially deaf, and the Audio Guides in Italian and English for the blind and partially blind.
The guided tour of the Theater lasts approximately 40 minutes. People with disabilities and their companions are granted the reduced rate (6 euros).
How does it work?
The Audio and Video Guides will take you on a tour of the most striking spaces of the Teatro Massimo: from the majesty of the Great Hall to the richness of the Pompeian Hall, and the hidden details of the Royal Box. Audio and video are designed to offer engaging insights into the history, architecture and secrets of the Teatro Massimo. Along the tour route of the operahouse, you will find 3D models of the halls and tactile maps for the blind and visually impaired.
