Marco Bellone was born in Palermo in 1980. In 2000 he graduated at Teatro della Scala in Milano, and specialized in contemporary dance at Aterballetto in Reggio Emilia with artistic direction by Mauro Bigonzetti. He worked as soloist and as principal dancer at Maggio Musicale Fiorentino at Teatro Massimo in Palermo and for Balletto di Roma company. He played the first roles in productions by famous choreographers including: Carolyn Carlson, Amedeo Amodio, Micha Van Hoecke, Mauro Bigonzetti, Fabrizio Monteverde, Milena Zullo, Eugenio Scigliano, Mario Piazzia, Luciano Cannito, Lorca Massine. Guest in many festivals and important events, such as in 2006 when he was selected by choreographer Amedeo Amodio for the trio ballet taken from "Romeo and Juliet" with Roberto Bolle and Alessandra Ferri for the "Notte Bianca" in Rome with an audience of over 30,000 people. Since 2013 he is Maitre/Assistant Choreographer for Balletto Teatro di Torino with artistic direction by Loredana Furno, for choreographer Matteo Levaggi, for Teatro San Carlo in Napoli and for Teatro Massimo in Palermo.
