The Italian National Association of Music Critics has given its price to the new production of "Bianco Rosso e Verdi" by Francesco Micheli that was performed in autumn 2009 at the Teatro Massimo, Palemo.

The "Franco Abbiati" award has been assigned in consideration of the complex and ambitious project for musical education that has been put into place for this show.
The active participation of young students, together with a plot that entwines the birth of Italy as a nation with the life and art of Giuseppe Verdi are the reason for this prestigious award.
